Choosing Your Scan Quality
We offer three scan quality options for film — designed to suit everything from casual digitisation to exhibition-grade printing. Each frame is scanned individually, with careful cropping, dust removal, and tonal correction included as standard.
High Resolution (1200 DPI)
Ideal for viewing on screen, sharing digitally, or making small prints (up to ~6" × 4").
✔ Best for family archives, film shooters, and high quality backups
Even our High Resolution tier exceeds the maximum quality offered by many commercial labs.
Premium Resolution (2400 DPI)
A versatile choice for high-quality prints and moderate enlargements (up to ~10" × 8").
✔ Great for reprints, zines, portfolios, and personal projects
This tier is often priced lower than the entry-level scans from most high street services.
Ultra Resolution (4000 DPI)
Captures every bit of detail from your film — ideal for large-format printing, editing, and long-term archival.
✔ Recommended for professional work, restorations, or collectors preserving original negatives
